Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Pipeline app. By using Pipeline you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What Pipeline is (and isn't)
Pipeline helps you plan a route toward your education and career goals, including with AI-generated suggestions and — when it becomes available — an AI counselor. AI-generated content can be wrong, outdated, or a poor fit for your situation. Pipeline is a planning tool, not professional academic, career, legal, or financial advice — decisions about your education, career, and money are yours, and important ones deserve a qualified human's input.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Pipeline.
- You can explore Pipeline without creating an account. Some features (sync, Communities, and later Pipeline Pro and the AI Counselor) require one.
- Keep your account credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information.
Pipeline Pro subscription
Pipeline Pro and the AI Counselor are not available yet. They are not part of the current beta, and nothing in the app can be purchased today. The terms in this section apply if and when Pro becomes available.
- Pipeline Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple and billed to your Apple ID.
- The price will be shown in the app before you buy. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Pipeline account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
Communities and your content
- You own the content you post. By posting, you give Pipeline permission to display it to other users within the app.
- Don't post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that shares someone else's private information.
- Pipeline may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to bypass Pro entitlement checks, probing or disrupting Pipeline's servers, scraping other users' content, reverse engineering the app, or using the AI features to generate content that violates Anthropic's usage policies.
Termination
You can stop using Pipeline and delete your account at any time in the app. Pipeline may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (like disclaimers) survive.
Disclaimers and liability
Pipeline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pipeline and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes and contact
